Chennai, India is now home to Altair’s new office. Altair is a global leader in data analytics, high-performance computing (HPC), product development, and computational intelligence.

This calculated move demonstrates Altair’s unwavering commitment to supporting its expanding clientele in the area and its commitment to encouraging creativity and cooperation among Indian engineers.

With more than 100 workers, the recently enlarged Chennai office will act as a centre for Altair’s technical and engineering teams, facilitating improved communication with clients and partners in southern India.

The office will help companies take advantage of Altair’s state-of-the-art simulation and optimisation technologies for improved product development by providing a variety of services such as technical support, training, and consulting.

“The decision to establish a presence in Chennai reflects Altair’s commitment to providing localised support and expertise to our valued customers across India. With our clientele rising and the need for engineering simulation solutions increasing, Chennai offers the perfect setting for us to fortify our business and better meet client demands. We are eager to deepen our connection with the thriving engineering community in the area and are thrilled about the prospects this bigger office will present,” stated Vishwanath Rao, MD of Altair India.

The Chennai office expansion is part of Altair’s broader growth strategy, aimed at deepening its footprint in key markets and reinforcing its position as a leader in simulation-driven innovation.
