      ACMA Automechanika New Delhi 2026 opens, spotlighting India’s global aftermarket ambitions

      The 6th edition of ACMA Automechanika New Delhi 2026 opened its doors today at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, New Delhi, reaffirming its position as India’s definitive platform for the automotive aftermarket and a key convergence point for global auto component stakeholders. The three-day trade fair commenced with strong industry enthusiasm, featuring 870+ exhibitors with huge international participation, and an extensive programme of technology showcases and knowledge-led engagements.
      Recognized as the largest and most influential automotive aftermarket exhibition in the region, ACMA Automechanika New Delhi 2026 brings together a diverse visitor profile including wholesalers, distributors, traders of parts and components, professionals from workshops and service stations, fleet operators, OEM representatives and technology providers. The show serves as a vital marketplace for sourcing high-quality components, exploring next-generation technologies, and forging new business partnerships across the value chain.
      Spanning 51,000 sqm of gross exhibition area, the 2026 edition underscores the growing scale and strategic importance of the Indian automotive aftermarket. The exhibition highlights innovations across electrification, alternative fuels, sustainable mobility solutions and advanced vehicle technologies, reflecting India’s expanding role in the global automotive supply ecosystem.
      Demonstrating its strong international character, ACMA Automechanika New Delhi 2026 saw significant overseas participation, bringing global best practices and cutting-edge technologies to Indian shores, while simultaneously positioning India as a reliable manufacturing and sourcing destination for global markets. The presence of international pavilions reinforces the growing influence of Asian and Global economies in shaping the future of the automotive aftermarket.
      The inauguration ceremony was graced by eminent dignitaries from industry and government including Shri Jitin Prasada, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Ministry of Commerce & Industry and Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Mr Vikrampati Singhania, President, ACMA and Vice Chairman & MD, JK Fenner (India), Mr Sriram Viji, President-Designate, ACMA and Managing Director, Brakes India Pvt Ltd, Mr Wolfgang Marzin, President & CEO, Messe Frankfurt GmbH, Mr Michael Johannes, Vice President – Mobility & Logistics, Messe Frankfurt GmbH, Mr Raj Manek, Executive Director and Board Member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd and Mr Vinnie Mehta, Director General, ACMA.
      Inaugurating the expo Shri Jitin Prasada, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Ministry of Commerce & Industry and Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology said: “India is going to be the economic center-stage of the world. The US and UK FTAs are a turning point in India’s growth story, unlocking immense business potential.
      With the quality and precision of the Indian auto component industry, we will be the trusted partner of the European Union as well as the USA ensuring our place in global automotive supply chains, including electronic EVs. Through incentives under the Electronic Components Manufacturing Scheme, we have ensured that components for EVs and automobiles receive the necessary impetus for growth, enabling us to deliver world-class products—Make in India, Make for the World.”
      Mr Vikrampati Singhania, President, ACMA and Vice Chairman & MD, JK Fenner (India), said: “Today, ACMA Automechanika has firmly established itself as India’s largest and most dedicated aftermarket auto components exhibition. Each successive edition has grown in scale, relevance and international participation and this edition reflects both the resilience and the ambition of the industry. India is not only the world’s fastest growing automotive market, but also an increasingly reliable global supplier of quality auto components and systems serving OEMs and aftermarket customers across the world.”
      Mr Raj Manek, Executive Director and Board Member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd stated: “ACMA Automechanika New Delhi 2026 returning after two years showcases a massive participation of auto components and aftermarket industries in India and across the globe. The exhibits have evolved as well, with innovations that aim to strengthen India’s competitiveness across global supply chains and help India become a hub of auto components.”
      Mr Vinnie Mehta, Director General, Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), said: “The show has successfully targeted the very timely solutions that could help industry evolve and adapt to meet emerging demand. The show floor has innovations targeting sustainable fuel technologies, components, new developments in line with clean fuel and a focus on the quality and packaging side that help India serve global markets.”
      The next two days of the expo will feature curated knowledge sessions and leadership dialogues aimed at addressing current industry challenges and charting future growth pathways. Key discussion themes include:
