4DeAutomotive Pvt. Ltd. was established in October 2021 with a customer centric approach to make E-vehicles accessible and inexpensive to everyone across the length and breadth of the country. With an intense R&D, we develop products that are efficient, stylish, cost-effective, and smartest The E-Cruz electric bikes series. The E-Cruz is a full- throttle electric super cycle series that enables you to filter through city traffic effortlessly with a powerful hub mounted BLDC motor and super comfortable ergonomically assisted design. Last but not the least our e-Shakti model is a specially designed model for the generation who taught us how to ride a bike. Last but not the least, the customizability of the e-Cruz bikes makes them the Smartest in the segment. Users/customers can choose the range & features as per their requirement.
The 4DeAutomotive started in October 2021. How was the journey so far kindly share your agenda and journey behind this company?
We all are a group of engineers who passed in 2020, and while pursuing our B.Tech we participated in multiple SAE & FSAE events in which we design and manufacture formula style vehicles and from there we decided to do a start-up.
Now the question arrives: why EV? So, the reason behind that is EV is the need of hour, and an emerging market. Also, there are a lot of players in high end-EVs but bicycles are affordable and the most common sector of a common man’s life and very few companies are available in this market with a satisfying product that comes in every range.
As of now we have multiple dealers across NCR including M.P. & Haryana and we are in contact with multiple corporate offices to switch toward green mobility. At 4DeAutomotive we contact colleges, universities, corporate offices & Industries to promote EV and reduce their carbon footprints with this very cost effective manner by choosing E-Cruz bikes over conventional everyday transport.
Kindly highlight the challenges in the EV industry.
The awareness and the need for correct information is the most important challenge. The myths and the false information are the biggest hurdles in the EV segment growth. The 2nd most important factor is the after sales service, at 4deAutomotive all our dealers are our service centers too and for the locations where we don’t have dealers we train bike store employees to repair and check the general issues.
How one can convenience transport users to convert their vehicles into electric vehicles?
Switching to EVs can save a significant amount of money and simultaneously they will contribute to a greener future. The International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) study estimated in 2015 a whopping 74,000 premature deaths in India were solely attributed to transportation tailpipe emissions. A small conversion of 20 percent of all diesel buses owned or managed by Indian State Transport Corporations (STUs) into electric buses can benefit India through annual savings of 4.6 million barrels of oil purchase equivalent to approximately Rs 1,700 crore (assuming a barrel of crude oil barrel costs US $50). Additionally, it will also help reduce 2.6 million tons of CO2 per annum.
How do you make your products unique from other competitive companies?
The E-Cruz series is designed and tested for Indian roads and terrain. We design bikes which are completely keyless operated. The inbuilt GPS, Anti-theft feature, detachable & customizable battery pack with the 4DeTracker application makes them the smartest bikes ever. And the sturdiness and ergonomically assisted design makes them the trendiest bikes.
Kindly share your marketing strategies and the plans to attract more seed fundings?
As of now we have dealers across NCR including M.P. & Haryana which we are expecting to grow in all the 4 directions. Also, we are in contact with multiple corporate offices to switch toward green mobility, we contact colleges, universities, corporate offices & Industries to promote EV and reduce their carbon footprints with this very cost effective manner by choosing E-Cruz bikes over conventional everyday transport. We have targeted to estd. 200+ dealers.
