Nissan began a new era for the legendary nameplate with the unveiling of the all-new Nissan Patrol today. Makoto Uchida, president and CEO of Nissan Motor Co. Ltd., made the seventh-generation vehicle official at a private ceremony in Abu Dhabi.

With its striking new design, potent V6 twin-turbo engine, 9-speed automatic transmission, and adaptive air suspension for improved all-terrain prowess, the all-new Patrol boasts several ground-breaking innovations. With built-in Google Assistant, ProPILOT Assist, and a Klipsch Premium Audio System, among other user-friendly features, it offers an excellent and remarkably comfortable driving experience.

Nissan CEO Makoto Uchida said, “The all-new Patrol is a prime example of the exciting and empowering models we are delivering under our global business plan, The Arc. The seventh generation is a bold leap forward, blending unparalleled performance, cutting-edge technology and a commanding presence to redefine what an SUV can be. With its history of more than 70 years, the Patrol perfectly embodies our corporate purpose of ‘Driving innovation to enrich people’s lives.”

Nissan has introduced a Puddle Lamp that uses a key fob to unlock the doors or activate specific lighting features as soon as the occupants approach the vehicle. The bulb illuminates a design that represents the production history of the SUV, which includes the famous Nissan Patrol silhouette and the words “Since 1951.”
